Subsídios para delimitação de bacias hidrográficas

Resumo

Este artigo apresenta o resultado de método para a delimitação de uma bacia hidrográfica, tendo como fundo a camada Google Road e a rede hidrográfica de uma base selecionada. O usuário define um ponto qualquer no mapa digital e, então, serão delimitados tanto a bacia hidrográfica a montante do ponto selecionado, como o encaminhamento do fluxo que sai desta bacia. São apresentados os subsídios para desenvolvimento de aplicativo com o objetivo de proporcionar ao usuário o conhecimento do limite da bacia hidrográfica do ponto selecionado e o destino da vazão e cargas geradas nesta bacia. A versão atual, além das feições da bacia e rio a jusante, apresenta a área e o número de trechos de rio da bacia selecionada. A integração com outras bases permite a apresentação, por exemplo, dos balanços quantitativos e qualitativos ao longo de toda bacia selecionada. Utiliza-se o software livre QGis, a linguagem de programação Python, e a BHO Ottobacias 2017_5k disponibilizada pela Agência Nacional de Águas e Saneamento Básico - ANA. A utilização deste método com outras bases permitirá o processamento de outras informações e a sua replicação para qualquer bacia do planeta. Esta funcionalidade reduz a assimetria da informação sobre a bacia hidrográfica, contribuindo para que o usuário compreenda os processos hidrológicos que ocorrem em distintas partes da bacia, aumentando sua capacidade de discutir e opinar sobre ações implementadas na bacia. Este fato tem grande relevância na discussão de ações e investimentos numa bacia hidrográfica, seja pelo tomador de decisão, seja pelos participantes dos comitês e por toda a população que terá uma melhor compreensão entre a relação entre as ações desenvolvidas na bacia e a qualidade e quantidade dos recursos hídricos.

Abstract

This paper presents a method for watershed-s delimitation, with the background of the Google Road map and the hydrographic network of a selected basin. The user defines any point on the digital map, then both the watershed upstream of the selected point and the routing of the flow leaving this watershed will be delimited. Subsidies for the development of an application are presented with the aim of providing the user with knowledge of the boundary of the watershed at the selected point exxetury and the destination of the flow and loads generated in this area. The current version, in addition to the features of the basin and downstream river, presents the area and number of river sections in the selected basin. The integration with other databases allows the presentation, for example, of quantitative and qualitative balances throughout the entire selected basin. The application uses the free software QGis, the Python programming language, and BHO Ottobacias 2017_5k made available by the Agência Nacional de Água e Saneamento Básico - ANA. The use of this method with other bases will allow the processing of other information and its replication for any basin on the planet. This functionality reduces the asymmetry of information about the watershed, helping the user to understand the hydrological processes that occur in different parts of the basin, increasing their ability to discuss and give their opinion about the actions implemented in the basin. This fact has great relevance in the discussion of actions and investments in a watershed, whether by the decision-maker, the participants of the committees, or the entire population, which will have a better understanding of the relationship between the actions developed in the basin and the quality and quantity of water resources.
